Our Covid-19 Rules

Following Boris’ announcement in regards to the new rules pubs are obliged to follow, here is an outline of what we will be doing at The Cricketers. The following may change as we work the best way to do things but here goes – as of today

Track & Trace – We are require to ask you to sign in when you arrive. There is two ways to do this, via a QR code or the old fashioned way with pen and paper!

Table service – All of our food and drinks will be served from your table. We will give you a table when you arrive. There will be a light on your table which we ask for you to turn on when you would like to be served. We will come and see what you want, bring it to you, and take payment at the table. This is very new for us as well as you and we will do our best to serve you quickly, just please be patient with us!

Masks – Whenever you aren’t sat down, you need to be wearing one. Going to the toilet, going outside for a cigarette, entering and leaving, etc. Whatever your personal view on these are, this is now the law, and something we will no doubt be audited on, so be kind, be respectful, and keep them on. Our team will also be wearing them, so we’re kind of all the the same boat.

Closing time – You will no doubt have seen that we will now be closing at 10pm. This means the pub has to be empty of customers at 10pm, last orders will be at 9:40 and we will have to ask you to leave at 10:00. This is now law and is out of our control.

Other than that, it’s pretty much business as usual (well, not usual, but new usual)

We would also like to thank you all for your continued support and hope to see you all very soon.

Stay safe.

Colin, Rob, Harry & Dee
